I've thought about buying this kit for quite a while now - but the price is pretty darn steep. I finally gave in - and I'm glad I did. It's pretty simple to use. I'm upgrading the cables on my board and, to my ears, adding just a few Geistnote cables in key places has really helped my full tone come through. (Could be psychological, but it does sound great). I've used George L's - which I also really like - and still have a few on my board. And some Lava DIY solderless cables that were close to impossible to put together. (Not to knock Lava, they make the best damn pre-made cables in the industry, as far as I'm concerned. But their DIY solderless cable kit was just impossible for me).The Geistnotes were fairly easy.A couple of words of caution/advice based on my experience:--Be careful with the pressure you apply to the cutter when you cut through the first outer layer of the cable. You may cut into the wiring and simply slice much of it off. Then you're starting over. Not a big deal. Just a little practice.--In my experience, don't leave too much of the actual main center wire poking out before you "screw on" the cable tip. I think they recommend 4mm. I did a little more than that and the center wire never really seemed to "lock in" with the tip - as I think it's supposed to. Checking all cables with a multimeter, continuity was totally fine, but I probably could have trimmed just a bit more of the center wiring for a better "fit".I haven't gigged with my board yet - so I can't speak to the "sturdiness/toughness" of the cables...but they're just sitting there connecting pedals. I assume they'll last forever!I'd recommend...Rock on!
