These NGK RUTHENIUM Spark Plugs ARE NOT an UPGRADE, they ARE NOT SUPERIOR and RUTHENIUM HX DOES NOT have any SCIENCE BACKED PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES over NGK LASER IRIDIUM HIGH IGNITABILITY Spark Plugs. LASER IRIDIUM HIGH IGNITABILITY Spark Plugs are the high end Iridium Spark plugs and are most likely the plugs that came stocked which is why the only noticeable difference you will actually see is the price between Laser Iridium (expensive) and Ruthenium (less expensive). If you replaced your low end Iridium IX Spark Plugs with Ruthenium HX Spark Plugs then you should notice a difference in performance and longevity as you have essentially upgraded to a cheaper alternative version of the Laser Iridium High Ignitability Spark Plugs.
