The product looks very nice and has enough of a selection in the box to provide a nice match to the varying grain patterns I had in my project. The taper is perfect, allowing me to tap a plug into the holes until they were close to flush. Plane and or sand smooth and the result is nice.Well tooled, i.e., well shaped, and even grained with consistent wood color.had to fill a bunch of old holes in a 100-year-old maple floor. DID THE TRICK!I liked that the product is of high quality maple wood and is exactly as described. I have not used the product yet, but the 1" Maple Wood Plugs are kept in storage for use when needed.can't ask more of this plug than that it doesn't fall apart, sturdy oak ,paints wellPerfect shape and quality
