I have '97 4Runner with 370k miles on it. Counting the original set of spark plug wires this is the third set on my 4Runner. I didn't notice any difference in running after changing the spark plug wires the first time. I wished I had measured the resistance of the original wires. But, with this set I measured the new wires and the old ones to see it there is any significant difference. On two of the old wires the resistance was very close to the new wires. The third one was several times higher than the replacement cable. I had noticed a few more revolutions of the engine before it would start. The new cable took care of that problem. This time I also used dielectric grease with the cables.
